We Make Lapel Pins for Big Names
Custom cast pins are durable, attractive, and long-lasting. Nothing beats the feel of custom die struck lapel pins, and the quality finish on the metal surface lasts for years. Cast pins are some of the most popular choices in our pin gallery.
With the help of our free custom design team, you can get your beautiful pin idea brought to life. You can also upload artwork, choose your metal plating, and have a custom pin made for your company or event!
The perfect pin when the design requires areas with cutouts. We can produce virtually any lapel pin design using die casting, especially if you’re looking for complex shapes.
Many pin size options are available. We also perform metal plating. Die cast pins are a classic design that provides a high level of shape detail. They’re a great choice for bold logos, and a quality gift for you or your team.
Die casting is distinct from die striking. Struck lapel pins, also known as die struck lapel pins, cannot be formed in as many precise shapes as cast pins. Cast pins can also be formed in more intricate shapes than enamel pins.
These custom pins are available in many designs and styles. Custom lapel pins made using this process have defined recessed areas and are typically made with highly polished or antique finishes.
Our shop offers excellent turnaround time for these quality metal custom pins. Before production begins, you can get a fast and free quote. Our production team will help you choose the best metal finish (such as nickel or copper) for your pins, or we’ll produce pins with the metal of your request.
A die cast pin is unique because the shape is not an issue. It can be made with cutouts around the letters, holes in the middle of the pin, in an unusual pattern, or just about any other element you want to add.
Cast pins are made by creating a custom mold and then injecting molten Zinc alloy metal in it to create the intricate shapes and designs. When the metal cools, it hardens. The results produce amazingly durable and sturdy custom pins because Zinc alloys will not bend or break. Yet it is lighter than the steel or brass used in a die cast pin.
A die pin may be all gold, all silver or any other metallic color. But you’re not limited! You may choose hard or soft enamel paint from our full range of Pantone or PMS colors to add vibrancy to the finished product so it looks very similar to a die pin.
Your die pin gives you total flexibility in the design by allowing custom shapes with the added benefit of an unlimited number of cutouts – all at no extra charge.
If you can dream it, we can make it!
Customers use die cast pins when they want to display an elaborate design or logo and require cutouts. Or they may require an intricate or unusual shape to their pin.
Typically, a die cast lapel pin is ordered when the size is larger than two inches.
Because making the mold is more intricate than the process for creating a die cut pin which is stamped metal, they are a bit more expensive.
We can work with your design or our talented designers can take your concept and turn it into artwork for you to approve or change.
And at PinProsPlus, there are no extra charges. Everything is included:
The die cast lapel pin is affordable. The price is as low as 96-cents each, depending on the size and quantity ordered. Though slightly more costly than a die struck pin, each die cast lapel pin high-quality and designed to your specifications
If you’re wondering whether a die cast pin is right for your needs, feel free to call one of our experienced representatives at (801) 544-1005. A real person will answer the call and be able to help you.
Right here at PinProsPlus. We’ve been making high quality die cast pins for almost as long as we have been in business.
Die cast pins are ideal when you have an intricate design that requires cutouts or a pin that isn’t perfectly round or square. Almost any shape can be made into a die cast pin.
Because the pin requires making a mold with a Zinc alloy metal injected into the mold, they cost a bit more than a die struck lapel pin. But they are economical when the impact the pin has is considered, and they can look nicer than custom die struck pins in some cases.
Whatever method you choose, we’re here to help you design and produce a lapel pin or custom die cast design that meets your specifications.
Absolutely! Some customers just want a gold, silver or other metallic finish but we can add a full range of enamel colors to your die cast lapel pins. We’ll work with you and find the custom pin design and pin types that work best.
Not long at all! Once you approve the artwork, we ship your pin in just 10-12 business days. We can create your custom lapel pins in a large quantity, so be sure to submit a quote request!
The die cast process provides the ability to have more intricate designs including cutout areas. If your design requires cutout areas to be the best pin possible, die cast is for you.
It’s the cutouts that make a die cast pin unique. If your logo or design requires a cutout, this is perfect for you. If not, it is more economical to order a custom hard enamel pin or a custom soft enamel pin.
Each pin is made from a casting rather than the stamping process. A mold is formed, then a liquid metal is poured into the mold to form the die cast pin.
Because the process for these pins is more expensive, if cutouts are not needed, it is better to choose a custom hard enamel pin or a custom soft enamel pin.
Once the die cast pins are finished few people will notice the difference between the different types of pins – except for the cutouts.
