OOTM Pins

Odyssey of the Mind (OotM) is a creative problem-solving program that helps kids learn through activity. Students build confidence, life skills, and are able to see their potential. Most importantly they have fun as they participate. Odyssey of the Mind problems challenge students to design, invent, build, write, and push students to go beyond traditional thinking.

OotM teaches them how to be creative and apply learning to real-world problems. Small teams of 4-5 students compete in local, regional, national and then international competitions – progressing upward as they win each lower competition.

Odyssey of the Mind Pins

Odyssey of the Mind World Finals brings added fun by adding pin trading to its event. Students put their minds into solving challenges but also into designing Odyssey of the Mind trading pins. This unique activity helps complement the experience by getting students to interact with other students from all over the world.  Problems are solved and friends are made.

Odyssey of the Mind World Finals happen typically the last week of May.

How does PinProsPlus help?  We take students creative ideas and help them make custom Odyssey of the Mind Pins unique for their team.  Pin trading is often more important than the actual competition. We know pin trading, they know creativity and together a design or pin set is created that becomes coveted by all other teams.

Successful pin designs have some things in common:  bigger the better – at least 2 inches, add unique effects – glitter, cutouts, or moving parts, and choose themes that are popular today.  The most important thing:  have something to trade or you will miss a major part of the experience.
